The SE-800AV is an analog only version of the SE-800 Digital Mixer. It has all the same features as the SE-800 without the DV and SDI digital ports. The function of the SE-800AV is the same as the SE-800 but without the digital interface options. 4 Channel Mixer featuring Component (Y:U:V), S-Video (Y/C) and Composite video and stereo audio connections. The Datavideo SE-800AV is a 4 input Video Mixer that includes more than 50 built-in digital effects. The SE-800AV also includes a color processor and an audio mixer. It incorporates a Dual channel time base corrector and frame synchronizer that will assure stable images for all source inputs. Its full size keypad and control panel and optional tally system port make the SE-800AV an excellent affordable solution for live studio and post-production applications.
Live multi camera web casts are now more affordable; video for DVD's may be mixed live and then enhanced in an NLE. Worship services with video projection can use the SDI out. City Council meetings with local cable access can output composite or digital. The uses are many.
 The SE-800 has four multi format inputs: DV, Component, YUV, S and composite. 1 output DV, component, YUV, S, Composite and SDI. Built-in digital to analogue converters, dual channel time base corrector, RGB colour processor with memory and a four channel stereo mixer with stereo microphone and earphone connections. Also a PC Link digital overlay interface port which allows you to connect to a PC overlay card to import PC text and graphics.
The SE-800 also boasts an impressive full size control panel which features a joystick control for accurate positioning of Mosaic effects and 30 pre-programmed keys, which allow you to playback the pre-programmed functions instantly with a single key stroke.
There are a multitude of digital effects including A/B rolls and dissolves, PIP, border lines, chromakey, zoom to name a few, and over 100 digital effects with 3 transition speeds. The SE-800 has dual channel Time Base Correction for perfect glitch free switching - and there is no need to genlock analog video sources.

Video Character Generator
The CG-100 can hold many pages, limited only by the computer's processor speed and RAM speed and size. If you have 150-200 pages you will need a faster computer with more storage than if you have 50 pages. Text positioning may be done by mouse/eye or by X/Y pixel designation.

Designed specifically for the SE-800, the RMC-140 provides four different combinations of preview that include Quad, POP, PIP and Next. It provides 15 pin and 4 x 3.5mm tally light outputs. With Datavideo 50 metre tally cable (CB-1) and tally adapter TD-1), you can easily supply tally information to the camera crew, even with general DV camcorders

This two case system holds everything you need for a rolling studio. The bottom case holds cables. The SE-800 travels in place and already cabled so you take of the top, connect and then start editing. We used two cases so you can fit both into an SUV or van.
The upper case includes a rack that accepts a pull out drawer, CG-100 rack mount computer, etc.
