The playback module plug-in helps you make better edits by providing a full-screen preview through the
attached DV device. You can scrub both video and audio to properly evaluate your cuts, transitions,
and effects. What's more, the playback module allows you to record to tape directly from the Premiere
timeline, saving substantial time and disk space and bypassing the 2GB file size limit. You only need to
render the effects, titles, and transitions in your video. Straight cuts play back in real-time.

With MotoDV Studio and your personal computer, you can create broadcast-quality digital video
without a roomfull of expensive editing equipment. MotoDV Studio is purely digital - in and out - via
IEEE 1394. So the pristine scenes you record with your DV camcorder stay pristine for movies
recorded to tape or encoded for CD-ROM, DVD, or the Web.
Total Premiere integration.
The movie capture and device control plug-ins provide integrated capture inside of Premiere, either
manually or from a batch list, with complete control of the DV device from the keyboard. Clips captured
from a batch list retain their original timecode, allowing you to output an Edit Decision List.

Open, play, and edit source clips in the
Source view of the Monitor window.
Then play back and refine an edited
program in the Program view.
Remove footage from the Timeline
using the lift or extract button. The lift
button leaves a hole, while the extract
button causes any subsequent clips to
ripple back.
Switch to Trim Mode to precisely edit
two clips in relation to each other.
Use the insert and overlay buttons to
quickly position source clips on the
Timeline. (The overlay button replaces any
footage at the edit line.)
Perform 3-point edits with ease using the Monitor window controls. You select the in and out point to insert a new clip into the timeline. Then select either the first or last frame of the video to be inserted. Premiere automatically adjusts the duration of the clip to have it insert perfectly!! No more hassles or time wasted trimming and re-trimming until you get it right. 3 point editing is what professional NLE systems costing tens of thousands of dollars use!
