Discussing the latest functions of EDIUS 8.22, product manager Alex Kataoka informs about creative features like applying custom LUTs. At the Grass Valley EDIUS booth DOP and filmmaker Matthew Scott demonstrates an HDR workflow of EDIUS 8.22 in combination with an Atomos Shogun Flame field recorder connected as an HDR monitoring device. Please see our IBC color grading workshop video with Matt Scott to enjoy the demonstration in full length. Finally Alex Kataoka shares some details about the upcoming release of EDIUS 8.3 expected to be released by the end of the year. Many users are already looking forward to the new optical flow technology allowing especially high quality slow motion video and frame rate conversions.
