True Diversity Single Channel VHF Receiver for Reliable Performance!
A VHF "true diversity" receiver, designed to help the videographer to create quality audio, with less chance of dropouts. The nature of RF signals is such that they bounce off walls or structures, creating "dead spots", or sudden loss of signal. The WDR-PRO, with 2 selectable frequencies, 2 front-end receivers inside the case, and 2 antennas, has been designed to overcome this inherent problem. Both receivers are set to the same frequency and the WDR-PRO's circuitry selects the receiver with the stronger signal from the microphone and accepts this signal. Hence less chance of dropouts.
