The Cinema Pro uses enterprise quality SATA II hot-swappable drives with low decibel swappable blowers along with optional redundant power supply with Raid battery back-up module (BBM).
The Cinema Pro Host Bus Extender implements the latest 20Gb/sec PCI-express Extender technology, enabling the extension of the computer’s PCI-express signals to the Cinema Pro Raid System, which is expandable for potential growth (Daisy chain capability).
The Cinema Pro is super fast and is designed for the Video Editing and Content Creation Professionals. Cinema Pro has unsurpassed speed up to 873MB/s-Write and 773MB/s-Read on Raid 5. This super fast speed Raid engine is perfect for ProRes 422, DV, DVCPRO HD, HDV, uncompressed SD/HD, 2K and even Red Camera film format.
Designed with a built in EZQuest Raid engine controller card that supports RAID 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6, and JBOD. The EZQuest built in Raid card comes with 2GB of SDRAM memory along and Intel 800Mhz IOP341 I/O processor so you can have a dependable, fast solution for your video editing tasks.
