FINAL CUT PRO X - OVERVIEW, INTERFACE, AND IMPORTING MEDIA
Final Cut Pro X is a radically different take on non-linear editing. With an interface that borrows more from iMovie than Final Cut Pro 7, Apple has presented video editors with a new way of thinking about editing.
This session is the first of four parts introducing FCP X. This first session provides an overview of the application, an introduction to the interface, shows how to import media, and how to apply keywords so you can find just the clips you are looking for.
One of the strengths of Larry's presentations is that he not only explains the how and the what, he also explains the why. If you are in a hurry, start with this tutorial and save yourself a ton of time learning on your own.

FINAL CUT PRO X - EDITING AND TRIMMING TECHNIQUES
Final Cut Pro X is a radically different take on non-linear editing. With an interface that borrows more from iMovie than Final Cut Pro 7, Apple has presented video editors with a new way of thinking about editing.
This session is the second of four parts introducing FCP X. This online video training provides a detailed guide to viewing and marking clips, editing them to the Timeline, rearranging clips in the Timeline, and trimming the point where two clips touch. ("Marking" a clip means to select just the portion you want to use in your edit. This is also called "setting the In and Out.")
Editing is at the heart of why you use Final Cut Pro. This tutorial is designed to provide you with a wide variety of tools that can speed your work, improve your results, and help keep you focused on the process of telling your story, rather than wrangling software.
