Bella's patented, built-in jog/shuttle controller and Specialty Keys makes editing easier, giving you much more control over your audio and video clips without your hands ever having to leave the keyboard. And with this latest generation of the Professional Series keyboards, we've added the NeoLite, a task light that plugs directly into the keyboards, and two USB 2.0 ports for a direct connection to your high-speed media devices. NeoLite: Don't Be Caught in the Dark!
The Pro Series 3.0 now includes the NeoLite. The NeoLite is a task light featuring dual LEDs and a 12 inch flexible gooseneck that plugs into any of three power ports in the keyboard leaving all USB ports free. Use the NeoLite to illuminate the keyboard or the workspace around it.
Unique Jog/Shuttle Controller
Having the jog/shuttle right at your fingertips allows you to edit more efficiently and feel more connected to your audio and video clips, all without your hands ever having to leave the keyboard.
The shuttle (outer) ring allows play and hold at the speed you want (turns 90 degrees in either direction), while the jog (inner) wheel allows more finite frame by frame control: the faster you spin the wheel, the faster your video moves. Bella has also included two Specialty Keys which can be programmed for commonly used commands, such as Mark In and Mark Out. Editing your videos has never been easier!
Maximize Your Productivity
Software is included with presets for most popular applications, with additional presets available to download for free. The keyboard also includes web, email, and multimedia keys for additional convenience. Want more? You can create your own settings and even have different presets automatically load with each application you use.
High-Speed Connectivity with USB 2.0
The Pro Series 3.0 keyboards offer another industry first: USB 2.0 connectivity for your high-speed media devices. This allows you a direct connection in your keyboard for devices such as Apple’s iPod, flash devices, and USB hard drives*. Also, the Pro Series 3.0 now includes International Symbols on the keys which allow access to most European letters and symbols.
Hybrid Technology & Additional Functionality for Premiere Pro
Two other unique features Bella Corporation offers with its Pro Series 3.0 keyboard are its special Premiere Pro keyboard layout, giving you 40% more direct keystrokes than with the traditional Premiere Pro layout; and, Bella’s unique Hybrid Technology allows you to use the Avid Xpress and Media Composer keyboards on either a PC or a Mac platform.

What can I say ?!? I love using an NLE customized keyboard and I can't live without a jog shuttle when I edit. With the new Bella Professional keyboards I get them both! Many folks ask me why I keep recommending customized keyboards for video editing. The answer is simple – productivity. They help you edit faster. How? By using keyboard shortcuts you will be able to work faster and smoother. That's why every serious NLE on the market has keyboard shortcuts available. I've also found that these keyboards can make you a better editor. The folks who designed the software put in the shortcuts that the most advanced editors want. If you will take the time to figure out what each keyboard shortcut is, you will also gain access to an additional toolset you may not even have realized you had. The Professional series is available for Avid Xpress & Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas & Apple Final Cut Pro.
The Integrated Jog Shuttle is very responsive. It's positioned very smartly on the keyboard, between the keypad and number pad, where the arrow keys are on a standard keyboard. That puts the shuttle right under my right hand while I edit. Best of all, it takes up about the same amount of desk space as a standard keyboard, which is important in a cramped editing suite.
