In today's economy every Penney counts and before we invest in new technology, we have to be sure of the benefits.
In 2009 Tapeless camcorders started dominating the landscape, at every level of video production, each with their own unique wrinkles and complexity. The (Read More)

The feelings around this year's NAB Show were of apprehension, tension and excitement. With the announcements that first Avid, and then Apple had pulled out of the show, no one was really quite sure what to expect. When we hit the show floor on Monday it was a bit disorienting. 2003 was a landmark year for digital video editing. It will go down as the turning point that marks the changeover from hardware to software based NLE solutions. These new NLEs leverage the power and performance of your computer, as well as additional hardware. This is no small wave of change. It is actually a tidal wave that is as important as the DV Tsunami that revolutionized video editing in the beginning of the decade. There have never before been so many new NLEs to choose from and so many ( Read More)
