The newest tool we have in our bag of tricks is the Matrox Convert DVI Plus. What I thought would be just another scan converter has become a swish army knife to our video needs. The ability to take a raw DVI source signal input and send it out – SDI, Component, and Composite is worth the money. No longer do we have to route the video through multiple pieces of equipment to get it our screens. ( Read More)

Well here we are into the first official evening of Final Cut Pro X’s release out into the world. It’s been a busy day and a Twitter search will show a good bunch of love, a whole lot of hate and a little bit in-between. The Matrox MXO2 LE MAX is used by Glyndebourne to produce up to 40 short films a season.
“At Glyndebourne, operas are filmed on HDCAM and it’s not financially viable for us to buy and maintain our own tape deck, so the MXO2 LE MAX can link to a hired deck and capture high quality HD operas into our edit systems.
