They asked what Avid needed to fix and when they asked for honest feedback, they sure got it! What did Avid do with this information? They used ( Read More)

It's been five months since Thunderbolt technology arrived on the scene with the latest MacBook Pro refresh. At the time, not many devices were available to make use of the speedy new I/O connection. Just before an Avid-hosted event last night on the Warner Bros. lot, editors who gathered there were discussing the shortfalls of FCP X as well as the direction of Adobe and Avid. The buzz was palpable.
Inside the Steven J. Ross theater, Avid brought the troops together to emphasize its commitment to the professional market, hammering home that their focus is us: the editors.
