When Matrox first brought us the MXO2, I was so impressed I ended up with one in my edit suite.
The MXO2 was a great addition to my Final Cut Suite, giving me features of more larger, and expensive breakout boxes. ( Read More)

Matrox MXO2 Mini can support Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro—the only one I personally haven’t seen in action—and gives editors an external reference monitor for editing, all for under $500, it might be one of the most Useful Tools for Editors that I’ve come across yet.

I recently acquired a Matrox MXO2 Mini to use on my system. Mainly for use with the new Avid Media Composer 5.0 for monitoring, but I got the MAX version to help speed up H.264 encoding. I do a LOT of that for client approvals. Yes, I still have the big boy, the MXO2. But when I boot to my Avid partition, I swap a couple cables (control cable and HDMI) to my MXO2 Mini. To have access to Compressor on my Avid partition, and to have access to a few FCP codecs like DVCPRO HD, XDCAM EX and HDV, ( Read More)

The Pioneer Internal Blu-ray Disc/DVD/CD Writer will write up to 12x on BD-R (25Gbytes) and BD-R DL (50Gbytes) media.
