Connor Crosby is a teenager who loves making short films, documentaries, comedies, and more. He knows his way around the Final Cut Studio suite and now he published his thoughts on the new FCPX: Final Cut Pro X is a great non-linear editing application; but, it’s missing a lot of features. Last year, at the IBC trade show, I had someone come up to me and say, "You know, Premiere Pro CS4 looks absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately, I'm a Final Cut Pro editor, and can't use it." I inquired further, thinking it was a training issue, and he told me that since he defines himself as an FCP editor, he won't use other NLE tools. I was left speechless. (Read More)

To work with AVCHD, you will need Final Cut Studio 2 or the latest version of iMovie. We will look at how to capture footage in both. Since the footage is already on a hard drive or memory card, this process is more like a hard drive transfe (Read More)

We've all seen Flash videos at YouTube.
