call shenanigans (from the urban dictionary)
v. to declare that another’s words or behavior is full of shit, off topic, or passive-aggressively annoying. to call another on their bad or mischievous behavior.
Apple today released updates to their video applications Final Cut Pro X, Motion, and Compressor. The updates for FCPX specifically according to Apple’s App Store contain the following:
- Multicam Editing
- Advanced Chroma Keying
- Media Relink
- Edit layered Photoshop graphics
- XML 1.1 with support for new features
- BETA Version of Broadcast Monitoring
No doubt these are some welcome new features and kudos to Apple for having the cajones to call something beta. I could go on a rant about how no editing product should be released with a media relink function but what’s done is done and I’m trying not to FCPX bash here (seriously). I took a look through the Post Magazine press releases and here’s where Apple begins to make the voices in my head yell.
