YOUniversityTV2 provides online tours for college-bound students to explore campuses and programs without the expense of travel. The website features short format videos of over 400 universities that let prospective students get a feel for the atmosphere at each school. Co-founder and CEO, Ron Reis, uses the Matrox RT.X2 realtime video editing card to save time in the production process. The stylish, edgy videos his team creates are full of graphics, compositing, and special effects so working in real time is an important efficiency boost. When Ron did the math, he realized that his Matrox RT.X2 gains him about a month a year in time saved not having to render.
