Customizable workspace, other new features to this release Sonic Solutions has updated its DVDit Pro application to version 6 and has added a host of new features to this already robust professional level DVD authoring application. The software is a step up from the company's MyDVD authoring tool, and in hopes of bringing along MyDVD users who may have hit the creative ceiling with MyDVD, DVDit Pro 6 now offers the capability to open MyDVD projects for further refinement with tools found in DVDit Pro 6. Within the scope of this review, and because Sonic has added a boatload of new features to this upgrade, we'll take a look at some of the new features in this release. Interface DVDit Pro 6 sports a new interface to enhance the DVD creation process. You can choose from five custom layouts depending on the part of the DVD project you are working on. These layouts include basic, advanced, movie creation (for when you are working with video files), menu authoring for when you are creating menus for your projects, and navigation and linking, used when ensuring everything is linked up.
