Inexpensive Consumer Video Editing programs like Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere Elements, Sony Vegas Movie Studio, Apple iMovie, Windows MovieMaker are easy and fun to use. While these products can be purchased for less then one hundred dollars they deliver a level of performance and features that would have cost 10 times as much just 5 years ago! While these products allow you to edit your video, create slideshows, author DVDs and export them to the we Read More

I can say this right up front: Vegas Pro 9 addresses some long-standing issues raised in the Vegas user community. It also steps out in front of the pack of other NLEs with cutting-edge features and support for the newest formats. To me, the biggest advantages of this release are the total support of 64-bit technology and 4K acquisition and editing. Read More

Time will tell if Vegas handles longer projects just as well but if ever there was a time for FCP, Avid and Premiere editors and indy filmmakers to sit up and take notice of Vegas, it's now Read More

In most professional NLE's we see an overwhelming development process of mimicry and replication. 'Source' and 'Output' windows, 'Bins', A/B rolls, Gang monitors, Logging and so Read More
