Adobe Story is a simple scriptwriting application with plenty of key features that makes it a great tool for video producers. The current version is in beta, meaning that it's available for free on its Labs website (labs.adobe.com). Let's start with the back-story or history on the Adobe Mercury Playback engine. Back at IBC in September, the show happened in Amsterdam and while Adobe was there talking about several things including Adobe Story - over at Read More

There is the question as to why is Adobe announcing this now, so far in advance of anything? The answer is you my friends. We want to make sure that you're aware of where we're going and that if you have any thoughts about upgrading in the future, that you have the necessary time to get ready for it. In addition, if you're using CS4 and not using 64-bit now, you should run not walk to the store to upgrade your OS and memory. Read More

Today we took a major leap forward in our future development of Premiere Pro and AfterEffects. We announced that we would no longer support 32 bit OSes in future releases of Premiere Pro and After Effects. As many of you know, we are not new to the 64 bit arena, Photoshop CS4 is already native 64 bit on Windows and we have been running the last 3 versions of Premiere Pro and After Effects on 64 bit OSes.
